I've already replaced the compressor belts, fan, the computer to update?

My 2006 Dodge Ram has only 129,000 milage I had qualifed mechanic replace the compressor,ac drive belts, coolant etc etc. the mechanic who said your dodge ram is ready to take home! paid him $1,400 ( Me):where's my vehicle? It's was still on the lift ! ( Mechanic): Ohh! We have another problem no cold air must be a code thing we can send your computer out to repair will need your (bread and butter work truck) for 3 days! ( Me): So I paid with no cold air still? I left in disgust ! Help Jeff!
