What is your question?
Information on the 2006 4dr Dodge Ram 1500 The ABS and Brake light have been going on and off for years. Never the check engine light nor any mechanical issues. First issue with the truck is where it stopped cranking, was running fine, parked it, went to restart and all the lights came on like normal, but dead silence, no attempted crank, theft light not activated. Sent to the shop for diagnoses, 3 weeks later they took out and put back in the PCM. After the PCM was removed and put back in it temporarily ran, though it now had the check engine light on, it rough bounced into gear when shifted, had very little rpm to get it moving, started showing the codes P0700 and P0760(which I suspect isnt the real issue, just the computer issue flaring up), and lastly the fuel gauge dropped from 3/4 to E while driving it yesterday, then it broke down again having no crank. Shop hasn't had any luck figuring it out yet. Not starter or obvious diagnosis.
How long has your 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 had this problem?
Almost a month now

Hey there! I'm Dusty, one of the auto experts with RepairPal's Car Genius team. It sounds like your issues could be related to the Integrated Power Module (IPM), which is a combo of the Power Distribution Center (PDC) and the Front Control Module (FCM). The IPM is found in the engine compartment next to the battery and handles voltage distribution and protection for the whole vehicle. For detailed circuit diagrams and wiring info, you'll need to check the appropriate wiring documentation. I think your suspicions about the transmission's errant shifting, the fuel gauge, and random no-start conditions are on the right track, and likely related to the IPM being unable to reliably deliver the required power to the control modules.
