What is your question?
I’m trying to install LED lights in my truck and when I plug them in and switch the lights on it works just fine but when I turn the engine on the low beams flicker but high beams work just fine, would a CANbus decoder solve this issue? I thought the led lights that I installed had one built in to the wire harness but maybe not, would it harm the truck if I install an additional decoder?
What makes this problem better or worse?
Turning on low beams makes the lights flash rhythmically
How long has your 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 had this problem?
Just after installing the new LEDs and turning on the engine

Hello, it's just not a good idea to try and "retrofit" LED lights for a vehicle that was not original equipped with them. Depending on the set up and quality of the components, you can cause many issues with body control modules and even possibly interference with powertrain controls. Further, you could cause concerns with power output causing damage to wiring and connectors. If you insist on making this modification, you'll need to seek the guidance of a professional technician near you with strong electrical skills. There is no "plug and play" solution, and this forum really speaks more to factory equipment of vehicles, maintenance and repairs. Good luck!
