So I was trying to put transmission fluid in my 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 manual 5 speed and I accidentally unscrewed a bolt on the opposite side of the fill plug and now it won’t go back in. I was wondering what that bolt is

I'm sorry to say that I'm only seeing "plug" on the parts diagram. So, I'm honestly not sure. In your shoes I would probably just obtain assistance to reinstall the plug -- if stripped to re-thread it. I don't think it's pressure bearing by any means (not really any "pressure bearing" components in a manual transmission), but of course it is there for a reason and should be restored. www.repairpal.com/repair-shops
