power steering whine

If the fluid is topped off and the correct type, then it is most likely your power steering pump. They do go out.

Try replacing the PS reservoir. There is an internal filtering screen that gets dirty thus restricting the supply of oil to the pump. It is a common problem with Chrysler especially 2001 and later vans with the 3.8 litre engine.. Good luck

yea that is what mine was doing weeks back now the pump is fried putting new one in sat thay run about 56 for just pump
