I replace the power steering pump three times and it keeps going bad it gets really hard first time about a year second time 3 months last time less than a month before it went bad I have no leaks different mechanics replace it I don't have any check engine light on IConnect the scanner on a live data everything's good the only thing it says Powertrain not enough PSI can somebody tell me what it is please thank you so much
What makes this problem better or worse?
It's worse and no matter what it gets really hard I press the gas pedal and just makes a loud noise
How long has your 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 had this problem?
About seven years ago only put in it about 18,000 miles

It's difficult to assess without performing a hands on inspection. One would wonder about the quality of the pumps -- sometimes remanufactured ones do indeed fail. Then, I also wonder about the other accessory drive components and the drive belt. Not sure about the "live data" reading without seeing it; I'm thinking its a non issue or unrelated to this concern.
