my Electronic Throttle Control light is on the truck will idle but will not go.

Could be many things... from a bad brake light switch, bad throttle position sensor, etc. Impossible to diagnose without proper scan tool & other test equipment. Definitely a job for a qualified shop. Call me during business hours @ 209-634-5882. Ask for Keith.
