You will need to perform the relearn procedure but those motors commonly have problems with the wiring harness and pcm that will throw throttle body codes.
Thank your response. I have heard about 10 different re learn procedures which one do you recommend? As far as wiring harnesses go i had 2 broken wires that i fixed.should i replace the harness?
The relearn may have to be done with a capable scan tool. If you found broken wires in the harness already it wouldn't be surprising if there was more. You can use a multimeter to check for continuity between the plug on the throttle body and the ecm, not too hard if you know how to use one. That would tell you if there were more broken wires.
Thank you i will check continuity and have the throttle relearned. I will let you know how it went
