my truck feels like it won't leave first gear and has no power going uphill.

the engine idles ok. revs ok. When i drive it bucks and kicks. It has no power going uphill. It feels like it won't leave first gear but if i down shift it feels like the transmission is moving. The fluid appears fine. There is so much shaking i cant tell. its worse than if you leave the brake on. i have a lamp out light on. I can't even get to the computer to find out which lamp. Are the O sensors lamps?
