motor was rebuilt less than 10 months ago and now i have the clattering coming from the passenger side head which is where the original problem occured the code that has come with this problem is 0300 multiple cylinder misfire and i have no past experience with the overhead cam. if nothing else i need to find a GOOD mechanic please

The engine should still be under warranty, was the engine rebuilt "in house" or was the engine bought from an engine re-builder like ATK or another nationally recognized engine builder? Read your warranty and see if it is still valid, go back to the people who did the work anyway and see what they offer even as a act of good will.
I agree with my friend Pat but just to add, make sure you have had the motor serviced as needed to keep up the warranty. they may require proof of oil changes. Roy
