Dodge said the blend air door damper prob broken. G ave me an est. of around $800.00. Iknow the part cost about $29.00. Is it really that labor intensive? I was told the whole dash needs to be removed? Are there any shortcuts?

What do you mean 'shortcuts?' It's about 3.5 hours labor and about $100 for the part. The dash has to come out so the work is fairly intensive but I thihk the job should be about $400 to $500.
