Truck wont start - out of the blue

I would go with mechanical problem. First thing - check fuel pressure. If fuel pressure is low, or bleeds down, then you will have a starting problem. Next, check the air intake. If there is too much or too little air getting in, you will have a starting problem too. Check the air tube, check for vacuum leaks.
