What is your question?
I have a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 4.7 L engine I drove it to work just fine and a few hours later when I started it it died. And then it would not crank or start but my lights and my dash lights nothing to come on. I finally got it to where it would crank but now it's not starting. And now the gas pumps not coming on and even if I put starter fluid into the intake it will not start

Hi, my name is Devin. I am an auto repair expert with the Car Genius team here at RepairPal. I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your Ram 1500. When you experience cranking issues and no fuel pump sound, it's often tied to an electrical or fuel control issue. Start by checking your main fuses and relays, especially those related to the ignition and fuel systems, as a blown fuse or relay can disrupt both. The next step is to inspect the fuel pump relay and fuel pump fuse. Given that your lights weren't coming on initially, there could also be an issue with the ignition switch or a grounding issue in the electrical system. If the truck isn't starting even with starter fluid, it might also be a sign of a spark issue, potentially with the ignition coil, crankshaft position sensor, or camshaft position sensor, which are critical for spark timing. Testing for spark directly on the plugs can help determine if spark is being delivered to the engine.
