Have a 2001 dodge ram truck. Changed the starter, alternator, fuel pump, brave new battery. Ok so the truck will drive and when I turn it off , I have to wait up to an hour before it will start again

Hello, when you try to start it again, does the engine crank at all? Or is there no response when turning the key? No response turning the key - you still have a starting system issue - wiring, cabling, ignition switch, shift lever interlock function and transmission sensor -- things of that nature can still cause problems. Cranking of the engine but not starting - engine performance concern - check for fuel, spark, air and emissions controls - something will be verifiable when the concern is occurring. Pickup coil in distributor, or coil pack. One other thing. Check to see if the 5 volts from ecm is on. Ecm has a tendency to have a bad connection.
