There are two plastic guides attached to the regulator that ride on the window guide made of plastic I have bought these items as far back for my 56 chevy They make them for all years of GM but not for dodge I went ahead and bought new regulator for my dodge What a waste for 2 pieces of plastic!! THat would have cost $5
