What is your question?
When i drive over slight bumps in the road I feel a rattling type feeling in the wteering wheel not sure if this has to do with the fact that i have loose steering or not. Besides the loose steering I am having no other problems in the steering.

I believe it is bushing in the steering column that wears and elongates. A repair bushing is the solution and is available online. Two differnt kits,, one for standard trans. and another for automatics. not too difficult to fix. google- RockSolidRamTruckSteering.Com ($60.) for the "dunk-clunk" sound-feel. If sloppy steering is prob., Try "dodgeramsteeringstabilzer.com" for play/wandering/slop steering problems due to movement of steering linkage and output shaft of steering box. ($120.). These two kits are for different symtoms and have proven to correct two design flaws in 2nd/3rd gen. Rams. ---youtube has video demos.---
Thank You very much, this helps a lot.
