Shifts out of overdrive and cannot shut this off with the overdrive button

What is your question?

Shifts out of overdrive, and when it is working correctly I can toggle the overdrive funtion on or off with the button, but when it acts up I can stop the truck and toggle the button but it will not go into overdrive. If I shut off the truck and wait a couple of minutes, it works correctly for a few miles then acts up again.
