ok my son and me live far apart and he is cluless about cars and trucks. as soon as my son changed the plugs and wires tha truck started,a few days later it would not start again,he replaced the rotor and dist. cap it started.a few days later no start,replaced the coil it started. now it is doing it again i told him to disconnect the battary and re connect it now it starts again,HELP!! what is left? is there a brain box,relay,sensor going bad? i am lost please help me

really you need to pull the codes. that will help locate the issue. it could be a Crank Sensor ( common on these ) or many other things. just trying things will empty your check book with no repair. use the codes. and yes, there are some issues with the computers on these 5.9s, but first check the codes. it may be just a crank sensor.
