What is your question?
Just started today I loose power on an incline. Feels like engine wants to die I had to message gas pedal with my foot to keep it going. I am sort of feeling like this is a sensor problem. I do have an exhaust leak but have not had any major power issues until this morning. Does good when in gear idling on a flat surface not using the gas pedal.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Inclines
How long has your 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 had this problem?

Hello, loss of power and having to manipulate the accelerator pedal to keep the engine going sounds less like a sensor issue of some kind and more of an engine performance issue related to fuel delivery, intake air leaks, ignition spark or exhaust leak issues. Yes, exhaust leaks can affect other component operations which can influence power concerns. It's always important to repair what you know to be wrong before attempting to fix other things, so I'd say fix the exhaust leak and recheck. A check with a diagnostic tool to retrieve any diagnostic trouble codes (DTC's) which can indicate clues toward repairing failures is a good idea too. https://repairpal.com/auto-repair-near-me
