What is your question?
I have a rough idle. when I go to accelerate, the truck lurches forward and sputters like it can't get any gas and would hardly accelerate I can feel a knock on the pedal and it feels like it's about to stall. if I leave it at idle it would stall, but I can pin the accelerator and keep the engine running while in neutral, then the engine would go back to a rough idle to stall. I replaced the throttle position sensor and air filter. more mechanically inclined friends of mine think IAC valve or fuel pump. 1998 dodge ram 1500 5.9L magnum gas

Hello, I wish these "mechanically inclined friends" would suggest testing your vehicle with proper diagnostic equipment! But I bet they don't do that. This is what is needed. Find out what is happening when the problem is occurring by having the fuel system, ignition system, air intake system and emissions systems checked both when all is well and then again when the problem is actively occurring. Testing will lead you on a path to the answer. Use this link to find some shops near you that can help with your concern: www.repairpal.com/repair-shops
