What is your question?
I travel alot from TN to OH. On one of my trips, my truck sounded like it was only firing on a couple cylenders. Come to find out, the fuel pump went out. I replaced the fuel pump. The problem fixed for a short period of time. Now home in TN I can't drive it a mile down the road engine warm or cold truck still falls on its face , poping and cracking under the hood just like I am running on 3 or 4 cylenders and that's it. Plugs, wires, distributer cap and rotor button have all been changed. Will a fuel system vacuum cause this problem if the canisters went out??? (Even if you don't hear an air leak.)

I think you may have a fuel pump relay that's failing. Replace the relay before doing anything else. I always want to replace the relay by the time the pump has failed, myself. If you think there's vacuum in the tank, try removing the gascap when it happens, you would hear a big sucking noise if so (a little vacuum noise is normal and OK). If that's the case, replace the gascap, that's what vents the tank to allow for fuel being used.
