H E L P I have got a 97 ram pu and iam trying to get it inspetdion sticker on it but it wont pass decause the engine light comes on abd the code ix po300 wich bis radmon cylinder misfire well i replace the wires and plugs and it is etill doing the samething someone please help me

Many things can cause a "P0300" code. A vacuum leak at the intake manifold, a fuel system problem causing fuel starvation/ lean running condition, dirty fuel injectors are other possibilities. The ignition system components, spark plugs and wires are also likely culprits to cause a P0300. The code is not very descriptive in helping pinpoint the exact problem. Basic diagnostic tests need to be done to narrow down thew area causing the problem.
if you havent put plugs and wires,do so. put a new oxygen sensor, it will probably run you about 60 bucks, its most likely the first sensor..... theres only two oxygen sensors and its usually the first. dont get discouraged. you have a 5.2 and it will run for a long time.
