What is your question?
I just put new spark plugs, air filter, and wires on my truck. Ever since, my truck has been making a popping noise, and is very sluggish when accelerating to highway speed, Any ideas what could be causing this. I did find a vacuum line that the previous owner put a bolt in the end. I can't find where this is going to. Is this a possible reason for truck being sluggish? The previous owner said he did a tune up on the truck a couple of weeks before I bought it, in Feb of this year. Based on the condition of the plugs and wires, I don't thing so. The wires were of 2 different styles. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

sounds like you have wires on wrong and it is backfiring. I would double check the wires before doing anything else. Roy
I would check your fuel pressure to make sure that the fuel pump is putting out enought gas to the motor...too much air and not enought fuel can cause poping sound and slugish acceleration ...your Trucks Fuel pressure should be around 50 psi at Idle.
Would a bad fuel pump cause fuel tank to be drained quickly? I put 3/4 of a tank in on Saturday, now it's on empty. Usually I get a week out of 3/4 of a tank?
Only if you kept slamming your foot on the gas to compensate for the sluggish performance... I know I've done that.Figured I'd blow out whatever was supposedly blocking my fuel.
Already did that. I just put wires on yesterday. This was doing that before I replaced the wires. I put plugs in on Saturday. I was told wires were fine. I went to double check the gap and found a broken wire, so I put a new set on. Replacing them 1 at a time. I'm at a loss
