How do you remove your key from the ignition when it won't go into park?

Ram 1500 96 2WD, Key stuck in ignition. Can't pull out in any gear. Will start only in Neutral, then shift automatic to "Drive" to Drive. Reverse also works. But won't shift into Park so keys can be removed?? Help! What seems to make the problem better or worse? Same all the time How long have you had this problem? Two days
