driving down the highway all of a sudden it will rev up really high and no go.

Hello, you could have a vehicle speed sensor issue or wiring issue which causes the transmission to lose engagement. Further, you could have an internal transmission issue, or electrical issue with the transmission. You'll have to have a proper diagnosis performed to determine what is going on. With any luck, it will just be a speed sensor / wiring issue and you can fix that without major repairs!
