why at times my truck wants to stall and smell bad in the cab and some times it will shut right off but start right back up,can you help

was told that throttle body and throttle body motor should be taken off and cleaned what do ya think ?????
yes that's usually the problem with low idle or stalling problems
now that the temp is up out side the truck runs fine ???? but when the the temp was cold it would run bad untill the motor would warm up to a certain temp then it would run great,
This could be from dirty fuel injectors, but it's really tough if it only happens when it's really cold. This could be an issue with the engine control module software as well, you may want to call the dealer and see if these are any upgrades available.
