What is your question?
1995 ram 1500, 5.2. got 134k miles on it. this has happened 3 times now, if im driving at 65 or faster, after roughly 15 miles, i lose all power. the entire truck shakes under attempted acceleration, it wants to just bog down, and it back fires terribly. might be unrelated, but before this happens i lose heat also. ill turn the truck off and let it sit for 15-20 minutes, turn it back on, and it drives fine again. im also using quite a bit of oil, about 1 quart every 1000 miles, so plenum may be another issue. anything i can check? i have an oxygen sensor and cat delete coming in just to see what happens. the motor and computer is not throwing any codes. only modification is a flowmaster 44 muffler. thanks in advance.

Please share with me the codes it has stored. And have you cleared the codes, and if so which re-appear?
Cut the wires on the up draft o2 sensor.... it is shorted out. You see, when you start a dodge truck up, it goes into a start mode, which does not use o2 sensor, because it is cold, and in choke. once you are warm, it switches over and boom, you have idle, and pedal to the medal, with nothing in the middle. the reason it works floored...is because, again... no emmissions needed if, racing it..lol. so the O2 sensor, nearest the engine, will fix it.
It's not throwing any codes. I turn the key 3 times to the on positions the CEL comes flashes 2 sets of 5 flashes, stating everything is fine and there no error. About a month ago I threw a code related to a battery disconnect issue, but I know why it threw that code.
I WOULD REALLY NEED TO SEE THIS AND EXPERIENCE YOUR ISSUE. I WOULD NOT SUGGEST A CONVERTER DELETE AS THIS COULD GIVE YOU A COMPLETTELY DIFFERNT SET OF ISSUES. PROPER DIAGNOSTICS WOULD INCLUDE A CONVERTER BACK PRESSURE TEST THAT WOULD PROVE OR DISPROVE A CONVERER ISSUE. ALTHOUGH WHAT YOU DESCRIBE COULD BE A CONVERTER ISSUE. PLEASE CALL TO ARRANGE THE DIAGNOSTICS.
