My 95 ram 1500 wouldn't shift into any gear. It's been sitting sbout 2 months. I went out today startled it and drove it up and down the road. It even went in reverse. Anybody have any ideas on why it does this?

Hello, have testing performed. There's likely still a concern but it hasn't happened yet during your current drive because conditions haven't presented the opportunity for it to happen.
I would not expect a major concern that prevents transmission operation to suddenly fix itself.
When you say it would not shift into any gear, do you mean the manual shift lever from Park to Drive or Reverse? Or the vehicle operation when already in drive or reverse?
