fuel pump problem

my fuel pump went out i replaced it 3 times they work for just a few seconds and pumps very little the 3rd one pumps but does not start the truck i have cked the power going to them the relay.i went thru this about 4 yrs ago i went thru 3 pumps then had to get one from a dealer WORKED UNTIL NOW AND NOW DOING THE SAME THING,the replacement pump were airtech and carter both were carried back me and my mechanic is pulling out our hair any suggestions
