front axle bearings

the biggest thing is that you need a 1 3/4 inch socket to release the axle shaft. it is about 200 lbs tight. then after that is done, the bearing is usually stuck and needs to be hammered to be released. it is a labor intensive job. you may want to let a shop do this with all the needed persuations to get the bearing out.
