What is your question?
the engine it's a 5.9 v-8 ,shuts down when it warms up,it wont start back up till it cools down some ,i'm getting code 42 which has to do with the automatic shutdown circuit, anyone have any ideas where or what to check? this one i'm stumped on.i have checked the pcm, crankshaft sensor and did a fuel pressure test,no faults were found.

Have you tested or replaced your auto shutdown relay? Because this code 42 states that there is a problem with the ASD relay or circuit, which feeds major components like the injectors, etc. ASD relays do go out, as does any other relay eventually. I have replaced several. here is a site that will have the location of the relay, it is usually in the under hood power distribution center http://bit.ly/mitchell_repair_manuals_online
It sounds like what I went through with my 1998 Chrysler Sebring (2.5L V-6). It turned out the Cam Position Sensor and the Crankshaft Position Sensor needed to be replaced. Faulty or intermittent signals from either of these will activate the Automatic Shutdown Relay.
i have tested the auto shut down relay, fuel pump relay in it to ,no fault found there, also traced out the wiring to the asd relay, nothing found wrong there either, also the pcm was replaced with a new one,not sure if it was programed right tho.
