funny crackle in radio speakers,. changed light switch, fuses twice. they keep blowing . lights worked engine not running. i was driving last night and turned on the head lights dash lights worked for a short time and now more than one fuse is blown again.

if you are blowing fuses, then you have a shorted circuit somewhere. did the fuses blow before you replaced the head light switch. let me know. So, it is your headlights that keep burning out? And you hear a crackling in the radio? Then make sure that your charging system is not over charging. You can check this with a volt meter on your battery. Keep your engine at about 2000 rpm and make sure that your charging voltage at your battery is not above 14.5 volts. If it is 15 volts or over, then you have a problem with your Alternator . Also, just look at the brightness of your headlights when your hold the revs at around 2000, are they REALLY BRIGHT, if so this is not normal. Best of Luck and I am hear if you need more help.
yes they were blown before i replaced the switch thats why i did that thinking this was the root of the short. helppppppppp
