Hi, I have 2002 ram van with 140xxx miles v-8 5.2L and last 6-8 months i have noticed a humming noise and jerking when only shifts in last gear. Any suggestions? Thnaks, Ned

tork converter is probley what is humming try some tranmetic or lusas trans stop leak and shift improver
I have put lucas in it about 2 weeks ago it didnt change anything yet but i was told that i need to drive it for about 1000 miles before it takes any effect. Few mechanics told me that my trany is close to its end of life and its just matter of time when it stops working for good.Should i worry about it breaking? Thanks Ned
