Hello, It depends on the individual functionality changes between the two model years. Sometimes there is no change, and all of the same systems are included in different years and models, but sometimes there are even minor change that causes incompatibility. Also, if it does work, it has to be recoded with the VIN from your vehicle for the anti-theft system to allow it to function.
