What is your question?
My 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 has 3 cigar lighters a couple months ago 2 of them stopped working & it's the ones by the steering column & the one in my middle console just now stopped working meaning can't charge my phone I checked it's fuse & it was indeed blown so I replaced fuse twice & still nothing cigar lighter didn't work in fact it then blew both of my new fuses back to back? Any reason why is it a shortage & if so where can I get a wiring diagram of my vehicle?
What makes this problem better or worse?

Hello, I just had a discussion about one of these. Blowing the fuse on the cigar lighter shouldn't be hard to correct, especially since it is isolated to that fuse. Try this, remove the fuse (or leave the blown fuse in) and check for resistance across the two terminals where the fuse plugs in. In a good circuit, the resistance should be infinity because those two wires don't connect. If you get infinity, remove the cigar lighter and jiggle the wires around. Also wiggle the wires around all the way from the fuse panel to the cab, under dash, etc. The entire time you should be watching for measurable resistance. If you see measurable resistance, you know the wires are shorting to one another. You can repeat the process with each wire and ground and each wire and power to determine the pattency of the circuit.
