Without knowing service history, I'd say check your tire pressures. Tire pressure can seriously reduce mileage, especially if you have oversize tires. Alignment could be an issue but you'd see bad tire wear and maybe notice that the vehicle doesn't go straight with the steering wheel in the straight-ahead position.
