have replaced air compressor once and circuit board thingy and dash knobs, but air works for few weeks then goes out could it be the evaporator needing replacing?

The system could be losing refigerant. Chryslers are known to have evaporator core issues, but it should still be leak checked. Losing it in a few weeks is a significant leak, and should be fairly easy to locate.
