Hello people, I have a 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan GT, which has a misfire in number 2 cylinder. We've replaced the plugs, ignition coils, fuel injectors, rocker arms, push rods. We're stumped at this point. Can anyone suggest our next step.

Hello, I’m Pete from the Car Genius team at RepairPal. I’m sorry you’re dealing with this concern on your 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan GT. Based on the information provided it sounds like you are working with a misfire on cylinder number 2 and have performed multiple repair attempts to try and resolve this concern. With what you have repaired and replaced already this misfire can be caused by an internal engine mechanical issue with components like a broken valve spring, burned or damaged valve in the cylinder head, piston damage, cylinder wall damage, piston ring failure, among other possible causes. The best thing to do from here is to have a cylinder compression test performed as well as a leak down test to help identify any issues. It may also be a good idea to have the valve springs looked at as well as the lifter/tappets and camshaft for any issues. These tests and inspections may require special tools and know how in many cases to where it may be best to have a certified shop look into this concern to see if they can pinpoint the cause so it can then be repaired properly from there. One quick check is to make sure your wiring leading to your fuel injector and coil are all o.k. as broken or damaged wiring can also cause this issue as well as an internal engine computer failure that is failing to send out the proper signals to the injector or coil itself.
