What is your question?
I drive a 2016 dodge grand Caravan SE and my check engine light was on. It said it was the fuel injector on cylinder six so I changed the fuel injector and the check engine light went off but now the brake light won’t go off I mean the emergency brake light, and when I tried to test, drive it to the end of my driveway, my brakes locked up a bit and I had to really put force to stop . Also, it is smoking a bit which it wasn’t doing before.
How long has your 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan had this problem?
The break thing just started and I’m pretty sure the smoking thing just started. The smoke is from the tailpipe.

Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! After swapping out that injector on your Grand Caravan, it sounds like the van's throwing a little tantrum. The vibration and smoke? It might be that the new injector isn't playing nice, or there's a tiny fuel leak. Give it a once-over to make sure it's seated, and no lines are loose. As for the brakes locking up, it’s probably unrelated, but it's still super annoying! Double-check that your emergency brake isn’t on. If it’s not that, give the brake fluid a peek; sometimes, weird stuff happens. If you’re still wrestling with it, it might be time to get a pro to take a look. Don't worry; we'll return your van to its happy self soon! If you have any other questions, please call us at 877-913-1554! We'll gladly find you a certified RepairPal shop in your area!
