Odometer reading Gascap

Hello, I’m Pete from the Car Genius team at RepairPal. I’m sorry you’re dealing with this concern on your 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan. Based on the information provided if you are seeing a message "GasCap" in your Odometer area this is usually a sign of your computer systems detecting an EVAP (fuel tank vapor) leak. One of the causes can be a loose, incorrect, or damaged gas cap but there are other possible causes like a leaking vapor hose, valve, solenoid, gas tank, or even the charcoal canister itself leaking. I recommend having the EVAP system tested for a leak. Most repair facilities can usually test and identify the leak within an hours time. Once the leak is identified it can then be repaired to resolve this concern. If you’d like to find a trusted, certified repair shop in your area, you can check here: https://repairpal.com/certified.
