rear AC actuator motor replace - need to recalibrate after install?

when replacing the rear ac actuator / blend motor on my 2014 Dodge Caravan, do I need to recalibrate the actuators after the install?

What makes this problem better or worse?

It doesn't switch to AC. It stays on heat. Actuator motor makes ratcheting noise.

How long has your 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan had this problem?
