Hello, I’m Pete from the Car Genius team at RepairPal. I’m sorry you’re dealing with this concern on your Dodge Grand Caravan. A ticking noise in the engine can sometimes be caused by a failing valve lifter/tappet, rocker arm or rocker arm bearing failure, camshaft lobe concerns, or in some cases a more in depth failure like the crankshaft bearings among other possible causes. The best thing to do in this situation is to allow a reputable repair facility to listen to the noise, they have special tools that allow them to help identify where the noise is coming from a little bit better then our normal hearing can locate and can then dig into it further to pinpoint which component is creating the noise so it can then be repaired properly from there. This is something that should be checked into sooner rather than later to prevent further concerns.
