The key fob for my 2009 dodge caravan wont fit in ignition

What is your question?

Car was turned off for 5 mins and when I went to restart it the fob doesn't go in. I can get the tip in and it moves around to start position but dont start. Dash said bad key but theres no deformity or anything I can see blocking it

Is perhaps something - some kind of debris - inside where the key goes? Have you tried the other key? Hands on inspection is needed. www.repairpal.com/repair-shops
