Hello, This code means the transmission control module (TCM) is either not sending information to the powertrain control module (PCM), or that the PCM is not returning data. It could be a wiring issue, failed control module (one of the two), or even a weak battery. You will need to have this diagnosed before moving on with the repair. You can check to see if the large electrical connector on the transmission is corroded or covered in transmission fluid, or if there is physical damage to the wiring harness. Otherwise, it will need to see a certified technician with appropriate scanning equipment.
