My blower motor quit. I replaced it. I notice when I removed the old one the plug was burnt but assumed the old blower was the problem. I plugged the new one in before installing but it worked ok. After I got it installed I touched the plug and it was really hot. Is the blower causing this or is the resistor bad?

A poor contact between the connector inside the plug and the blower motor can cause high resistance and as a result the plug will get hot. If you cannot clean the metal terminal inside the plug so that you get a clean, tight connection you may need to replace the plug.
