Starts and then dies

sounds like pour oil regulation. that or there is to much oil in the car. replace the hose that has the gunk and see if the gunk returns could also be from lack of oil changes. have ur engine flushed and oil changed.if none of these work then there must be a crack somewhere that is alowing oil to get into the air filter housing and mixing with any dirt that is within filter housing which could actually be your gunk problem and its clogging that hoses and getting into your engine
