3.3 V6 Engine idles fine, but dies when put in gear

Really? There are people with auto repair experience and there are people without. and a little knowledge is a bad thing. i am an ASE master certified tech. in my 20+years of in shop experience and 4 years of tech school with in school updating every year, i have yet to see a faulty cable make an engine die. please people, if you dont know what youre talking about dont post any answers. the whole world is reading these posts looking for advise. and as extreme as it sounds, when a person gives bad advise for a repair, it could just possibly cause the loss of a life or even a whole family. keep that in mind people. if you dont know or think you know. just admit your short comings and be quiet.
