Hi i have a 2013 dodge dart 1.4 turbo replaced engine now no start

Hi i have a 2013 dodge dart 1.4 turbo i just did a engine replacement everything is back together we started the car it ran for about 3 minutes and shut off now it wont start just clicks when turning over and the starter is starting to burn and or smoke every time we try to turn it over someone toldme it something special you have to do to the dodge dart 1.4 turbo after a engine replacement or it will burn the starter up so i am trying to find out whats the next step thanks in advance
