How can I improved my gaz mileage, when it was new I use to get 17, now with a rebuilt engine I only get 10

There are many things you can do to improve your gas mileage. I'm not sure what was replaced when they rebuilt your engine, but I would start with the basic maintenance such as a complete tune up also a fuel injection service and something to remove carbon from the internals of the engine could also help your fuel economy.
