Where is the location of the crankshaft positioning sensor

I bought a new 1 but I cannot find where it goes I read under website that this van does not have a crankshaft positioning sensor if that's true why was I able to buy a new 1

What makes this problem better or worse?

That I was so a part that does not exist on this van

How long has your 1990 Dodge B350 had this problem?

It has not run in 4 or 5 years it has no spark
